x > 100; x < 150; (x-1)/2 + 1/2 = x/2; (x-1)/2 + 1/2 = x/2; (x-1)/3 + 1/3 = x/3; (x-1)/4 + 1/4 = x/4; (x-1)/5 + 1/5 = x/5; (x-1)/6 + 1/6 = x/6; The answer is 121, why doesn't it solve it?

x > 100;

x < 150;

(x-1)/2 + 1/2 = x/2;

(x-1)/2 + 1/2 = x/2;

(x-1)/3 + 1/3 = x/3;

(x-1)/4 + 1/4 = x/4;

(x-1)/5 + 1/5 = x/5;

(x-1)/6 + 1/6 = x/6;

 The answer is 121, why doesn't it solve it?

Solve what?

I'll look at the last one.

(x-1)/6 + 1/6 = x/6;       Multiply both sides by 6

x-1+1=x

x=x

Well that is true fro all values of x.

The others all work out the same.
