Add 16 to both sides

x^2 = 3    Take the square root of both sides....remember, we need to take both roots - positive and negative

x =  ±√(3)

And that's it.......

Add 16

first you need to subtract 16, or add negitive 16 to each side

then, just take the square root of -26, and you have x!
