simultaneous equations...

I would start this off by making x or y the subject.

So 1st Equation now equals x=13-2y

Now i sub equation 1 into equation 2

So -2(13-2y)-3y=-18

-26-4y-3y=-18

7y=-8

y=-8/7

Then sub the y value into equation 1 to get x value

x+2(-8/7)=13

x-16/7=13

x=107/7
