You have to know at least one variable or have some other equation to solve.
It is impossible to answer your question if there is only one equation to use for two variables.
+6 U guys have no idea what it is, I'll answer it corectly, its acctually a formula for something, so for example, y=2, so 2x2-3=1, so 1 is equal to x, or x=1
