x=-4 & x=3  http://www.scholaris.pl/resources/run/id/53343
in your case x1=-4 and x2=3 .

Think about this for a moment.

If you multiply 2 ordinary numbers together and get 0. What can you say about those?

2 x 3 = 6

0 x 8 = 0  that works

0 x 0 = 0 that works too.

the only way that two things can multiply together to give 0 is if one or both of them equals zero.

so for your question.

either x+4=0  OR  x-3=0

you can finish it can't you?
