Thanks CPhill for the chance of answering this!
as CPhill said , according to his examples i am going to tell you its answer Mari!
$$x*x*x*x*x=x^5$$ $$ANSWER$$
(as ther are 5 x's we are multiplying so we'll take the power of x as 5)
Hope this helps!
x*x*x*X*X=x5
The easiest way to solve this is to count how many x's are there and then but the 5 as the power.
x=base
5=power
$$\begin{array}{rclclcl}
x &=& x^1 &=& x^{(1)} &=& x^1\\
x*x &=& x^1*x^1 &=& x^{(1+1)} &=& x^2\\
x*x*x &=& x^1*x^1*x^1 &=& x^{(1+1+1)} &=& x^3\\
x*x*x*x &=& x^1*x^1*x^1*x^1 &=& x^{(1+1+1+1)} &=& x^4\\
x*x*x*x*x &=& x^1*x^1*x^1*x^1*x^1 &=& x^{(1+1+1+1+1)} &=& x^5
\end{array}$$
