What do you need to do with that equation?
Well im just going to guess that you need to plug it in, if thats the case heres the work:
y-(-5)= 1/2(-5-4)+ 3
y-(-5)= 1/2(-9)+ 3
y-(-5)= -4.5+ 3
y-(-5)= -1.5
then your point would be (-5,-1.5)
