Y= -6x^8-3261x^4-5 what power function does the function above resemble?

This question is a little off... a power function by definition is in the form Y=X^N. Since it isn't in that form, I'm assuming you mean what is the degree of the function. The degree is the value of the highest exponent of the equation and in this case, it would be 8.
