y and x intercepts?

y intercept occurs when x= 0

   sub in x = 0    to get   log 4    + 2 = 2.60

x intercept happens when y= 0

    sub in y = 0 to get

       0 = log(3x+4)  + 2

      -2 = log(3x+4)             raise 10 to  both sides of the equation  (anti-log    or inverse log) 

      10^-2 = 3x+4

     .01  -4 = 3x

   -  3.99 = 3x

        x intercept =- 3.99/3 = -1.33
