Hmmm...this looks more like an equation for a line or something...are you sure this isn't what you meant?

If this is what you meant, here's a graph for this equation for a line:

 

However, you did ask to solve for x.

Here's how you would do that:

y = x-3/5

+3/5   +3/5        ---Add 3/5 to both sides

y+3/5 = x

x = y+3/5
