you have a right  tryangel the hypotnuse is 6 and one leg is 3 what is the area of the right tryangel?

Let's find the other leg....this is given by

√(6^2 - 3^2)  = √(36 - 9) = √27

So.one leg is a base and the other is a height  (it doesn't matter which)... and the area of the triangle is

(1/2)(3)(√27) = (1.5)√27  = (1.5)(3)√3 = 4.5√3 = about  7.794 sq units
