How to calculate how much is half of the forth root of 10

Was this supposed to have a picture with it?  It doesn't make much sense.  Sorry.

With regards to the page numbering, yes, I think you are missing something.

It is very obscure.  sometimes individual post in a thread can be referenced but I don't understand it.  I have deleted the duplicates now but in my temporary sticky questions today I referenced threads and they doubled up even though the numbers were different.  I have known this is the case for some time but as I said, I do not understand how it works or how i can make proper use of it.

Oh, on the answer page, individual posts, not threads, are referenced all the time.

Also if you do a search - which isn't working very well yet - often a post will come up but it is stand alone, the thread it belongs to is nowhere in sight!

I had real problems getting into this thread.  I kept being told "File not found" I guess there is still quite a few ants at the picnic!  

Another recurring complaint is that time stamps on out messages jump all over the "clock" 

Andre has now installed a fraction calculator.  There is a drop down menu in the top right corner of the calculator.  There is a few different calculators available here.

$$m(x)=2x^{1/3}+2 \\

h(x)=x^{1/3}$$

Graph h(x) then multiply every y value by 2 to make the graph higher when y>0 and lower when y<0

+2 makes all the y values rise by two.

Each post has its own number but there is a number for the question thread too.

I don't like that either, maybe Andre could put an arrow in the middle - that would be an improvement.

Andre is very busy with a great many problems and I don't want to pester him all of the time but I do hope some of these 'annoying issues' will eventually be improved.

I probably should set up a list of these more minor issues somewhere so that eventually we can talk to Andre about them.

Shouldn't the second one be a 1 by 3 matrix for this to work.

If I had seen this working when i was teaching i would have marked it as wrong!

Think of something you and your mum might both like to do together.

When she is in a good mood and there is no one else is around, talk to her quietly and sensibly.  Do not criticize her or she won't listen.

See if you can set up a time where she will do something with you.  You could even bribe her by swapping her attention for some help around the house.

I don't know if this will help.   Computers can be very addictive.
