and I'm assuming you mean 2.4m³= Xcm³

this means that my learned coleage was very close but not quite right.

there's still only 100cm in a metre but it's cubed rather then squared

which means we're getting 100*100*100 which is 1000000cm³ in a m³

2.4*1000000 = 2400000

2.4m³ = 2400000cm³

I think that you are asking

2.4m² = x cm²

Well there are 100cm in a metre

so there must be 100*100=10000cm²in a m²

2.4*10000=24000

2.4m² = 24000 cm²
