Since if either of the binomials equals 0, the entire equation works (e.g. 0 times anything equals zero).

So set both binomials equal to zero, and solve for the two roots.

2x-3=0

2x=3

x=3/2

and

4x-5=0

4x=5

x=5/4

 

So, the two roots are 5/4 and 3/2.
