2x(3x-4)=6(x^2-4x-3)
I have a huge math test next week and I need to be able to solve this question. Does anyone know how to?
wrong mistake made when multiplying out the brackets
x= -9/8
$$6x^2-8x=6x^2-24x-18\\ -8x=-24x-18\\ 16x=-18\\ x=\frac{-18}{16}\\ x=-\frac{9}{8}$$
Edit: Corrected version.
You are quite right Anonymous! I've now corrected my original.
