SO, The volume of the figure = (The volume of the larger Rectangular Parallelopiper) + (The volume of the smaller Rectangular Parallelopiper)

 

We know, the volume of a Rectangular Parallelopiper = a.b.c (where a is length, b is width and c is hight)

 

So, the volume of the larger Rectangular Parallelopiper = (12*3*8) inch 3 = 288 inch3

and the volume of the smaller Rectangular Parallelopiper = (5*3*5) inch3 = 75 inch3

 

THE VOLUME OF THE FIGURE IS = (288 +75) inch3 = 363 inch3
