$$\text{The sum is }2*\left(3^n-1 \right)$$

$$\text{If n=15 the sum is }2*(3^{15}-1)=28697812$$

I believe you have a geometric series here, and you would like to find the 15th term ??

The terms of the series are given by 4*3(n-1)

so, we have 4*3(15-1) = 4*3(14) = 19,131,876
