$$$$\frac{-9+12i}{1+2i}=\frac{(-9+12i)(1-2i)}{(1+2i)(1-2i)}$$\\
$$ = \frac{-9-18i+12i+24}{1-2i+2i+4}$$\\
$$ = \frac{15-6i}{5}$$

$$$$ = 3-1.2i$$$$
