Yes. I currently am working with stuff in negatives and positives in algebra and sadly none of my resources are a big help. The problem is 3/5 divided by negative 4/9.
pro tip for that just do 3/5/4/9 but since there is one negative write it as -3/5/4/9. then u can multiply the bottom # by the top # and then the middle #'s. You do - 3*9/4*5 and then that equals -27/20 or -1 7/20.
I would say cancel numbrs but i'm assuming this is difficult for our friend so just multiuply numerator by the other numerator and do the same for the denomenator the answer will be negitve then simplify it.
okay after you do the multiplication and I'll guide you through simplification okay : )
TY! Now how am I gonna focus with my older sister who is going crazy over a mid term right BEHIND ME? I am terrible at math....
It turns into this equation, 3 over 5 x negative 9 over 4
(when dividing fractions you keep the first fraction the same, change the sign, and flip the second fraction and multiply across, numerator x numerator, and denominator x denominator)
Thanks! I also she usually don't exaggerate very much. Its my little sister that does that. She falls on the floor and says she "stuck" and she can get up just fine. In my head I go "Yeah. Your stuck up.". Shes good at math but she is in 3rd grade.
Ok lol, well my little sister is pregnant lol, so I need a lot of luck, my nephew will keep me awake too much
Lol good luck with that. Btw you can call me eve or laci. I prefer eve. I rather not have you use my group name for my friends.
