NVM I FIGURED IT OUT

ive been having trouble with this question i cant see a mistake: 

Ms. C used the distributive property to try to solve: −2(𝑐 − 5) = 28 

a. Check Ms. C’s work. Has she made a math mistake?

b. If your answer to part a is yes, describe the error and correct it – by solving the

problem.

−2(𝑐 − 5) = 28

−2𝑐 − 2(−5) = 28

−2𝑐 − 10 = 28

−2𝑐 − 10 + 10 = 28 + 10

−2𝑐 = 38
