If the number of bacteria in a colony doubles every 245 hours and there is currently a population of 950,000 bacteria, what will the population be 490 years from now?

You must have dreamt this one up yourself!!. The number of bacteria would be so vast, that the known Universe could NOT contain them!!!.

[490 years x 365 days x 24 hours] / 245 hours =17,520 number of doublings!!

950,000 x 2^17,520 =1.055 x 10^5,280 Bacteria!!!!!!!!!!!!.
