I think that he/she means:Sin(x)=.114, what is x? Take Sin^-1 of .114:

x=6.55 degrees.

I assume you mean \(x={sin}^{-1}(0.114)\)

 

\(x=0.114248...\)

Either way we both get the same answer.  My answer is in radians and your answer is in degrees.
