If there are letters (pronumerals) in common, they can be factored out too

6xa+9ya-3za

= 3a(2x)+3a(3y)-3a(z)

=3a(2x+3y-z)

6x+9y-3z

They have no letters in common and the only number that goes into 3,9 and 6 is 3 (1 doesn't help)

3*2x+3*3y-3*z=3(2x+3y-z)

understand?

It is very good that you are asking questions.

3*2x=6x

I split the 6x up because I wanted to factor out the 3.

comprehendo?
