How do I the zeros of the function. k(x)=−5x2−125
x=-5, and x=2
−5x^2−125 = 0 this has no "real" zeroes........add 125 to both sides
-5x^2 = 125 divide both sides by -5
x^2 = -25 take pos/neg roots
x = (±√5 ) i
Wouldn't the answer be \(±5i\), not \(±\sqrt{5}i\)?
