can you show me how to work out the equation: 7i*-13(-8+10i)

\(\begin{array}{rcll} 7i-13\cdot (-8+10i) &=& 7i-13\cdot (-8) -13\cdot 10i\\ &=& 7i+13\cdot 8 -13\cdot 10i\\ &=& 7i+ 104 -130i\\ &=& 104 + 7i -130i\\ &=& 104 -123i\\ \end{array}\)

Simplify the following:

7 i (-13) (10 i-8)

Factor 2 out of 10 i-8 giving 2 (5 i-4):

7 i (-13)2 (5 i-4)

7 (-13) = -91:

-91×2 i (5 i-4)

-91×2 = -182:

-182 i (5 i-4)

i (5 i-4) = -5-4 i:

-182-(4 i)-5

Factor -1 from -(4 i)-5:

-182-(5+4 i)

-182 (-1) = 182:

Answer: |182 (5+4i)
