[ 3 / [(x + h) + 2]   -  3/ [ x + 2]  ]   /  h          get a common denominator

[ (3 [x + 2]  - 3 [ (x + h) + 2 ] ] /  [ h (x + h + 2) (x + 2)]       simplify

[ 3x + 6  - 3x - 3h - 6 ] /  [ h (x + h + 2) (x + 2) ]

[ -3h] /  [ h (x + h + 2) (x + 2) ]      the "h's" cancel

[-3] /  [  (x + h + 2) (x + 2) ]

Take  the limit  as h → 0

[-3] / [ (x + 2) ( x + 2) ]  =

-3 / (x + 2)2

cool cool cool
