First factor the numerator:  3m^2 - 4am^3  a^2m^4 → m^2(3 - 4am + a^2m^2)

This factors further into m^2(am - 1)(am - 3)

The (am - 1) term in the numerator cancels with that in the denominator and you are left with:

                    m^2(am - 3)
