1 - 1 / 2x = 3 / 4x + 1        [ both sides - 1

- 1 / 2x = 3 / 4x                [ both sides reciprocal

- 2x = 4x / 3                     [ both sides + 2x

0 = 2x + 4x / 3

0 = (6x + 4x) / 3               [ both sides * 3

0 = 10x                            [ both sides / 10

x = 0  not correct !

Sample:

- 1 / 2x = 3 / 4x 

- 1 / 2*0 = 3 / 4*0

x is undefined
