Can you explain E=mc2?
This famous equation says that "mass", or everything you see around you is the same thing as energy. They are "equivalent". A small amount of mass or matter can be converted to huge amount of energy, as is the case in an "atomic bomb".
If a stone weighing 1 pound were completely converted into energy it would release so much energy that it would destroy, almost comletely, the biggest city in the world.
