Estimate the unit rates to determine which is the better buy.

 a. 22 vitamins for $.97 or 40 vitamins for $3.25

I sort of understand this but I'm not really sure on how to "determine" or "compare" which vitamins were the best to buy.sad

I would appreciate if I got the answer tonight. Thanks again :D

The 0.97 for 22 would be better.

$0.97 / 22 =.044 cents per 1 vitamin pill.

$3.25 / 40 =0.08125 cents per 1 vitamin pill.

Now, you can see which is cheaper.
