x2 + 11x + 18  factors into (x + a)(x + b)

To find the values of a and b, find two values so that they add up to 11 and multiply to 18,

then fill them into (x +   )(x +   ).

It would help you to take geno's advice and see if you could figure this out on your own......but.....IF YOU INSIST.....!!!!

(x + 9) ( x+ 2)
