Let the average height you are throwing the aeroplane be h m.
By using a graph, we draw a straight line to the right (x) when y = h. Now we draw a straight line from (0,h) to (3,0), and use a protractor.
Now we record our observations here
When x = 0, y = h
When x = 3, y = 0
When x = 1, y = 2h/3
When x = 2, y = h/3
The formula is:
y = 1 - h/3 x
By measuring using a protractor when h = 1, we found out that the angle is around 18° or 17°.
