f(x) = 4x - 3           g(x) = 8x - 1

(fºg)(x)  =  f( g(x) )        Place g(x) into the f(x) formula every place there is an x.

              = f( g(x) ) = f( 8x - 1 )  =  4( 8x - 1 ) - 3

                                                 = 32x - 4 - 3

                                                 = 32x - 7
