How do you enter a mixed number into a fraction.
Ex: 1 + 2/3
Multiply the denominator of the fraction by the whole number = 3 * 1 = 3
Add this to the numerator of the fraction = 3 + 2 = 5
Put this sum over the denominator of the fraction = 5/3
Thus...1 + 2/3 = 5/3
