does anyone know how to use tan^-1?

I got u

so there is a couple diferent uses

first finding angles

in a triangle (theta is the angle)

if you put the two sides lets label them o and a (or x and y here)

we know that tan = o/a right?

so if we put 

tan^-1(o/a)= theta
