Let's look at this again......I'll admit....it is confusing [ even to me !!! ]
Suppose we wanted to know how many 8s there were in 16.........we would divide 16 by 8 to get 2
So.....to find how many 1/2's there were in 2/5, we would divide 2/5 by 1/2
So
2/5 / 1/2 =
2/5 * 2/1 =
4/5
Guest's answer makes sense because
4/5 of 1/2 = 4/10 = 2/5
