A breeding group of foxes is introduced into a protected area, and the population growth follows a logistic pattern. After t years the population of foxes is given by the following.

N = 39.5/

0.23 + 0.76^t foxes

When will the fox population reach 95 individuals? (Round your answer to two decimal places.)

N = 39.5/

0.23 + 0.76^t foxes

Does the above mean: N=39.5/ (.23 + .76^t)? If yes, then we have:

95=39.5/(.23 + .76^t), and solving for t, we get:

t=6.13 Years for the population of foxes to reach 95.
