I assume this is :

(12 b^4c^5)/(18 b^8c^9)   ... remember that....  aⁿ / a^m  =  a ^n-m  ..  and...... a^-b = 1/a^b....so we have

(12/18)  x (b⁴ / b⁸)  x (c⁵ / c⁹)  =

(2/3)  x (b^-4 )  x (  c^-4)   =

(2/3) x (1/b4) x (1/c⁴)   =

(2) / (3b⁴c⁴)

CPhill: Are the 2 results(yours & Guest's) equivalent? If not, then one of them is wrong. The Guest's answer was arrived at by WolframAlpha Computing Engine.

I was just thinking anon you are like wolframalpha you do not know how to think either so maybe I need to answer your question. The answers are not equivalent
