Sammy is trying to determine how many triangles she can create out of a square grid that has a side of 14 inches. Use the image below to determine the area of the triangle and how many she can cut out.

This problem basically works the same way with out a graph an by looking at it you can tell its four but here's it worked out    

 

using the formula of the triangle base x Height divided by 2 you get 49 sq inches
