The quadratic expressions x^2+5x-14 and 49-x^2 share a common binomial factor. What binomial factor do they share?

I don't quite understand this. Can someone please provide the answer and the steps to getting the answer?

x^2+5x-14 and 49-x^2

First....let's factor both of these

x^2 + 5x - 14   =  (x +7)(x - 2)

x^2 - 49   = (x + 7) (x -7)

The binomial factor they share is (x + 7)     [ "bi"  means two.....as in "two terms"  ]

So...a "binomial" factor is a factor with two terms....

cool cool cool
