What are lattice points in math?!?!?! I tried looking it up but I didn't get any clear answers I understood. Please Help!
Informally, a lattice is a “set of isolated points”, one of which is the origin, and this “point set... looks the same no matter from which of its points you observe it” [8]. The study of lattices is interesting on its own and has lead to solutions to problems in other branches of mathematics.
Hope this helps.
