James needs to mix a 10% fungicide solution with a 40% fungicide solution to create 100 millileters of a 37% solution. How many millileters of each solution must James use?

Let the amount of 10% solution needed = T

Then, the amount of 40% solution needed =100 - T

0.10T  +  0.40*[100 - T] =0.37 * 100, solve for T

T = 10 ML of 10% solution

100 - 10 =90 ML of 40% solution.
