You can caluclate the area buy didviding the polygon in to far more simpler shapes and it end's up being two triangles and a rectangle using the formula to find the area of the triangles base time's height divide by two and the formula for a rectangle length times with we end up coming with the answers 28 + 15 + 40 = 83 sq inches.
