Hello!
So, to long divide without a calculator you set it up as in the image, now thing can 273 go into 6 without a decimal or fraction resault? No it cannot, so you make a 0. at the top and add a 0 to the 6, making it 60. 273 still cannot go into 6 so we add another 0 making it 600 Add another 0 at the top. 273 can go into 600 twice. 273*2=546. you then subtract 546 from 600. The resault being 54. Add a 0 to 54 to continue, and we can go into 540 once. Add a 1 to the top and subtract 273 from 540. The resault is 267. Add a 0 to get 2670, how many times can 273 go into that? Well, we know 273*10 is 2730 since all we do is add a 0. So lets work our way down, 273*9 happens to be 2467 and that goes in so we use 9 being that it's the highest we can get. Add a nine to the top and subtract 2467 from 2670 to get 203. it's best we stop here. Our answer is 0.0219 round and the answer roudned is a clean, 0.022.
Hope it helps!
