help with logarithm

log₃(x)  = 1 / log₃(x)      multiply both sides by log₃(x)

[ log₃(x)]^2   = 1   take the square root of both sides

log₃(x)  = ± 1  

So, in exponential form we have that either :

3^-1  = x   = 1/3    ....or that......

3¹  = x  = 3
