A cylindrical can is made in such a way that its radius is a function of the height as given by r(h)=sqrt(5)h. Using the formula for its volume, V=πr²h, express the volume as a function of the height, h.

Please explain this step by step as you solve it so I can learn from it, thanks in advance.

r = √5*h

V = pi * r^2 * h         so......substituting for r, we have

V = pi * [ √5 *h]^2 * h  =

V = pi * 5h^2 * h

V = 5pi* h^3

cool cool cool
