Let \(y = \frac{x - 3}{x + 7}\). The equation can be expressed in the form (x+a)(y+b)=c. Find a, b, c.

xy + 7y = x-3

x - xy - 7y  = 3                factor ...note that a 7 is added on the L and the right in the next equation

(x+7)(-y+1)  = 3 + 7

(x+7)(-y+1) =10              multiply by -1 to get correct sign for 'y'

(x+7)(y-1) = -10      take it from here .....
