Given that (-2,3) is on the graph of y=f(x), find a point on the graph of y=f(2x+1)+3. Express your answer as an ordered pair (a,b) where a and b are real numbers.

The graph   of  f(2x + 1) + 3  will shift  all the original points on f(x)  to the left by -1/2  units and up 3 units

 

So

 

(-2, 3)    will become  (- 2 - 1/2, 3 + 3)  =  ( -5/2, 6 )

 

EDIT TO CORRECT A PREVIOUS ERROR  !!!
