Test the quadratic equation:
\(x = {-b \pm \sqrt{b^2-4ac} \over 2a}\)
a=1
b=-6
c=2
solve the quadratic equation and see if they're real or not :) the roots aren't real if they include the square root of a negative nuumber.
Use the quadratic formula to find the roots
\(x = {-b \pm \sqrt{b^2-4ac} \over 2a}\) a = 1 b = -6 c = 2
x = 3 +- sqrt 7 real
