We're actually solving this :
2a - 1 < 7 - 1.2 a add 1.2a to both sides
3.2a - 1 < 7 add 1 to both sides
3.2a < 8 divide both sides by 3.2
a < 8/3.2
a < 2.5
So....all values of "a" less than 2.5 solve the inequality
